Registration is Open for the PGA Jr. League This Summer at Ben Hawes

Kids can learn and play the game in a fun, team-based format with expert coaching

 

Boys and girls ages 7-13 of all skill levels are invited to join the PGA Jr. League program at Ben Hawes Golf Course. Families can visit PGAJrLeague.com to learn more, locate Ben Hawes PGA Jr. League program, and register online by the deadline of May 2, 2025.

 

“PGA Jr. League brings friends, families, and communities together through golf,” said Charles Whelan, PGA, Golf Course Manager at Ben Hawes Golf Course. “The numbered jerseys and team-based scramble format of PGA Jr. League is a non-intimidating entry to the game and offers a fun and welcoming way for kids to learn and play the game with expert coaching from our staff. Community-centered game days add to the enjoyment for the whole family.”

COST:$250

Each player receives a team kit that includes two custom team jerseys (one navy and one teal), a hat or visor, bag tag, drawstring bag, and sticker.

Additionally, the program includes 6 practices; 6-8 games; and access to the Par 3 course for the summer.

We believe golf is a sport everyone should have access to enjoy the game. Scholarship opportunities are available on a limited basis to players who qualify for financial assistance or are from military families.

 

WHO:  Boys and girls ages 7-13. No prior golf experience is necessary to participate.

WHEN: Season runs from May -July

• Practices held Thursdays from Time 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. beginning May 1, 2025
• Games held Thursdays of the Week from Time 5:30 p.m. – Time 8:00 p.m. beginning TBD.
