REGISTRATION OPEN FOR OWENSBORO PARKS & RECREATION SPRING YOUTH SPORTS CLASSES AND LEAGUES

 

Spring T-Ball

 

Owensboro Parks & Recreation is gearing up for another exciting season of Spring T-Ball, a fun and engaging league designed for children ages 3-6. This non-competitive program focuses on teaching the fundamentals of the sport while ensuring players have a great time on the field.

The league is divided into two age divisions: Ages 3-4 & Ages 5-6

Youth Instructional Basketball League

 

Owensboro Parks & Recreation is excited to once again offer a Youth Basketball Instructional League in collaboration with former Division 1 basketball player, Corey Wilford. The league is open to 2^nd -5^th grade students (boys and girls). The program includes 4 practices and 4 game days which will focus on skill development and teamwork. The season will conclude with a single-elimination tournament, providing young athletes a chance to compete for the championship title.

The Edge Ice Center offers skate lessons year round. Registration for the upcoming session is currently open. The session will begin February 17 and run for 6-weeks. Freestyle classes are held on Mondays and the Learn-to-Skate class levels are held on Tuesdays, beginning at 4:30 p.m. Classes are available for children as young as 3; all abilities and all ages are welcome. Class levels and descriptions can be found at owensboroparks.org/facilities/edge-ice-center. Prices vary depending on the class level. Registration Deadline: Friday, February 14.
