"City Night" at Friday After 5 and Larry Maglinger Plaque Unveiling Rescheduled

“CITY NIGHT” AT FRIDAY AFTER 5 AND LARRY MAGLINGER PLAQUE UNVEILING RESCHEDULED
Due to inclement weather, the Friday After 5 kick-off festivities scheduled for May 17 have been canceled. “City Night” at Friday After 5 has been rescheduled to Friday, May 24. This includes the plaque unveiling for former City Commissioner Larry Maglinger.
The City of Owensboro will honor the memory and legacy of former City Commissioner Larry Maglinger by unveiling the plaque dedicating the Overlook Stage located on Owensboro’s riverfront to him. The unveiling will now take place on the evening of May 24 during the “Toast to the Sunset”. Maglinger, who passed away while serving as City Commissioner in April of 2023, was a beloved figure in the community and a frequent performer at the Overlook Stage, often captivating audiences with his renditions of Rod Stewart classics.

When: Friday, May 24 during the “Toast to the Sunset” (approx. 7:45 p.m.)
