Friday

Don’t miss your chance to get up close and personal to a wide range of aircraft. Friday will be your chance to meet some of the pilots of these aircraft and experience a taste of the Owensboro Air Show. As the sun begins to set, a few performers will take to the sky to entertain the crowds with an evening spectacle of nighttime air show performances followed by fireworks to conclude the night.

Admission is just $2.00 per person and kids 10 and under FREE. There will be food and drink vendors onsite, so make your plans to head to the airport right after work to enjoy a show never before seen in Owensboro.

Saturday & Sunday

All eyes will be on the skies over the Ohio River in downtown Owensboro as performers showcase vintage warbirds, military jet, and aerobatic demostrations.

**The City of Owensboro is proud to welcome the flying unit, officially known as the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds Air Demonstration Squadron to headline the 2015 Owensboro Air Show.

PROPERTY MAINTENANCE CODE ENFORCEMENT BOARD MEETING

We would like to turn the overhang purple and have our event open to the public.

It is the American Cancer Society Hope Lives Here event that we are having all

over the state of Kentucky. We have several locations in Kentucky that we are

turning purple. Louisville, Northern Kentucky Newport Auqarium, Lexington

Triangle Park, East Kentucky Natural Bridge, Southeast Kentucky Blazin Bluegrass

Festival, South Central Kentcky, West Kentucky Kentucky Lake and Owensboro area

Smother's Park. We are wanting to get awareness out about the American Cancer

Society, honor survivors and have a balloon release. We would be including

Daviess, Hancock, Breckenridge, Grayson, Ohio, McLean, Henderson, Webster,

Hopkins, Union, Muhlenberg Counties.

worldwide candle-lighting ceremony. The candles, lit on the exact same day across

the world, honor the millions of pets who lose their lives without the benefit of

a loving home and shine a light on the millions of healthy pets who are still

awaiting adoption. The Remember Me Thursday® global awareness campaign encourages

individuals to light a candle this day (literally or virtually) and to opt to

adopt, reducing the millions of orphan pets euthanized each year.

Firm Foundation Quartet based out of Owensboro,has been hosting their homecoming

series concerts for over 15 years. With sellout crowds at the T.W.O. Opryhouse,

Firm Foundation Quartet has brought southern gospel legends such as The Greene's

(of South Carolina), The Lesters of St. Louis, Missouri, and Hope's Journey from

Alabama. With the revitalization of downtown Owensboro, The McConnell Plaza has

just the right spot to welcome many out of towners as well as hometown folks to

experience an evening of gospel music. This year the gospel trio LambSong will be

the special guest along with Firm Foundation Quartet taking the stage. About Firm
