The Edge Skating School follows the guidelines set by the Ice Skating Institute of America (I.S.I.).

Register in person at the Edge or by calling 270-687-8720.

Fee: $20, includes 1 hour of ice time (30 minutes of instruction plus 30 minutes of practice ice), skate rental, 2 free pool passes, and 2 free rink passes.

Twelfth Night; or, What You Will is a comedy by William Shakespeare, believed to have been written around 1601–02 as a Twelfth Night’s entertainment for the close of the Christmas season. The play centers on the twins Viola and Sebastian, who are separated in a shipwreck. The play focuses on the Countess Olivia falling in love with Viola (who is disguised as a boy), and Sebastian in turn falling in love with Olivia.

Free to the public.

Rebecca Wright, a McLean County native, will serve as Guest Director.  Ms. Wright has a master’s degree in Theatre, and is in a Ph.D. program for Directing and Playwriting.  TWO will also offer an Introduction to Shakespeare workshop two to three weeks prior to the event.

River City Church Serves is a city wide event, all are welcome! We will be

helping prepare kids and families in our communities for a sucsessful start of

the school year. There will be free backpacks filled with school supplies,

haircuts, Diapers, oil changes, bikes, and event food. We love our city, and are

excited to be the hands and feet of Jesus.

You"ll have FUN, FUN, FUN spending quality time with your little one at the pool. Come and enjoy an hour of safe 'n sound swimming time with your toddler and help them become comfortable with the water.

Pool staff will be there to give helpful tips if needed. Pool toys will be available.

One parent/guardian per child is required to be in the water.

Swim pants or water diapers required.

Session 2

This class consists of aerobic routines, stretching and toning performed in chest/shoulder deep water. The resistance from the water gives a first-rate workout!

Now swimming skills necessary.

Age:  16+

The dog days of summer are going to end with a howl...and a splash! Before closing the pool, why not let man's best friend cool down and show off their best dog paddle or flea style with a dip in the pool!

The series will showcase a variety of bluegrass music on the first and third Tuesdays of each month from May through September with two additional dates leading up to ROMP. Performances will be from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at the River Overlook stage in Smothers Park at the north end of Frederica Street.

Downtown Date Night is FREE outdoor entertainment at the River Overlook Stage in Smothers Park.
