The Owensboro Neighborhood Alliances will once again host the annual neighborhood cleanups this year. The cleanups will take place from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. on the dates listed below. All residents in the cleanup areas are encouraged to help beautify the neighborhood by picking up litter along sidewalks and streets on their scheduled cleanup day. Boundaries for your neighborhood alliance can be found at https://services.owensboro.org/maps/citizen-information.

The Sanitation Department will provide free curbside pick-up to alliance residential customers for junk furniture, appliances, tires, and other items. Place items curbside by the Friday night prior to your scheduled cleanup. If you have large items, please call CityAction at 270-687-4444 or e-mail [email protected] BY THE WEDNESDAY BEFORE YOUR CLEANUP to schedule pick-up. Smaller items must be bagged or boxed. The sanitation crews CANNOT pick up construction debris/materials, yard waste, dirt, paint, or any type of liquid.

Classes range in skill levels and follow the guidelines and procedures set by the American Red Cross.

In the event of rain, make-up lessons will take place the following week.

• 45 minutes of instruction
• 15 minutes of free swim at 5:45 p.m. for both evening classes
• 2 FREE Edge Ice Center passes
• FREE swimming on Saturdays at Combest Pool

The Owensboro Neighborhood Alliances will once again host the annual neighborhood cleanups this year. The cleanups will take place from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. on the dates listed below. All residents in the cleanup areas are encouraged to help beautify the neighborhood by picking up litter along sidewalks and streets on their scheduled cleanup day. Boundaries for your neighborhood alliance can be found at https://services.owensboro.org/maps/citizen-information.

The Sanitation Department will provide free curbside pick-up to alliance residential customers for junk furniture, appliances, tires, and other items. Place items curbside by the Friday night prior to your scheduled cleanup. If you have large items, please call CityAction at 270-687-4444 or e-mail [email protected] BY THE WEDNESDAY BEFORE YOUR CLEANUP to schedule pick-up. Smaller items must be bagged or boxed. The sanitation crews CANNOT pick up construction debris/materials, yard waste, dirt, paint, or any type of liquid.
