The City of Owensboro’s Edge Ice Center is accepting registrations for its October/November session of Learn-to-Skate classes. The Learn-to-Skate program is part of the ISI’s (Ice Skating Institute) WeSkate program, the nation’s largest recreational ice skating organization.

 

Classes are available for all ages and abilities, from tots to adults and are held once a week on Tuesday’s beginning October 18 through November 22. Hockey Lessons are on Wednesdays starting October 19 through November 23 at 5 p.m. Class levels and times are available at www.owensboroparks.org.  

 

The registration deadline is Wednesday, October 12.  Class fees are $41 per person, and include 30 minutes of practice ice time before each session except for the 6:00-6:30p.m. class which has 30 minutes of practice ice time before the each lesson begins.
