NORTHWEST NEIGHBORHOOD ALLIANCE PRESENTS
GROOVIN’ ON THE GREEN
The Northwest Neighborhood Alliance is hosting a FREE Rhythm and Blues concert for the entire community on Saturday, September 30 from 4:00-10:00 p.m. Groovin’ on the Green will showcase music from the genres of Blues, Jazz, R&B, and Funk – featuring performances by The Sheryl Rouse Band, Higher Ground, and Monte Skelton. This family-friendly concert will take place at Moneta Sleet Jr. Park located at 616 Walnut Street. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating. There will be food vendors on-site, and Owensboro Health will offer services such as blood pressure and A1C checks. Additional parking is available in the St. Stephen Cathedral parking lot, located on Cedar Street. You will not want to miss out on this fun and FREE event!
