Edge Ice Center Offering Learn-to-Skate Classes
The City of Owensboro’s Edge Ice Center is accepting registrations for its next session of Learn-to-Skate. The Learn-to-Skate program is formatted by the ISI (Ice Skating Industry), the nation’s largest recreational ice skating organization.
Classes are available for all ages and abilities, from 3 years of age and older, and are held once a week. Children 5 years and younger, must be accompanied on the ice by a parent in skates. Learn-to-Skate classes are on Tuesdays, with the exception of high level freestyle on Mondays, beginning February 22 through March 30. The registration deadline is Friday, February 19.
The class fees is $49 per person and includes skate rental. Class levels and times are available at owensboroparks.org. Space is limited, register early.
**Masks are required and must be worn at all times, both on and off the ice**
