Edge Ice Center offering Learn-to-Skate Classes
The City of Owensboro’s Edge Ice Center is accepting registrations for its next session of Learn-to-Skate. The Learn-to-Skate program is formatted by the ISI (Ice Skating Industry) the nation’s largest recreational ice skating organization.
Classes are available for all ages and abilities, from 3 years of age and older, and are held once a week. Children 5 years and younger, must be accompanied on the ice by a parent in skates. Learn-to-Skate classes are on Tuesdays, with the exception of high level freestyle on Mondays, beginning November 30 through December 15. The registration deadline is Friday, November 20.
Class fees are $39 per person for the session and includes skate rental. Class levels and times are available at owensboroparks.org. Space is limited, register early.
