Dugan Best Neighborhood Alliance to Host Annual Gala Day

Saturday, July 13 - 10:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.

 

The Dugan Best Neighborhood Alliance would like to invite the public to their annual Gala Day on Saturday, July 13, from 10:00 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. at Dugan Best Park, 1003 Omega Street. This year's event is extra special as we celebrate the Dugan Best Recreation Center’s 50 years of dedicated service to the community! The Dugan Best Recreation Center will celebrate this milestone with cake and a commemorative ceremony at 10:30 A.M.

 

The day will be filled with engaging activities for all ages, including:

 

• Blood Drive: The Western Kentucky Regional Blood Center's Bloodmobile will be on-site to accept blood donations.
• Community Engagement: Members of the Owensboro Fire Department will be present to interact with the community.
• Dugan Best Recreation Center’s 50^th Anniversary: Join us as we celebrate 50 years of Dugan Best Recreation Center in Owensboro! Cake will be provided.
• 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament: A youth basketball tournament for ages 9 to 15 will begin at noon. No pre-registration is required.
• Family Fun: Enjoy free inflatables and participate in a prize drawing, featuring 10 bikes donated by the Masonic Pisgah Lodge No. 20, as well as a basketball goal and two basketballs donated by the Dugan Best Recreation Center.
• Free Food: Complimentary hamburgers, hot dogs, and cake will be available while supplies last.
