CITY OF OWENSBORO TO DEDICATE OVERLOOK STAGE TO LATE CITY COMMISSIONER LARRY MAGLINGER
The City of Owensboro will honor the memory and legacy of former City Commissioner Larry Maglinger by unveiling a plaque dedicating the Overlook Stage located on Owensboro’s riverfront to him. Maglinger, who passed away while serving as City Commissioner in April of 2023, was a beloved figure in the community and a frequent performer at the Overlook Stage, often captivating audiences with his renditions of Rod Stewart classics.
What: Larry Maglinger Riverfront Plaque Unveiling
When: Friday, May 17 during the “Toast to the Sunset” (approx. 7:45 p.m.)
Where: Jagoe Homes Patio Stage at the Riverpark Center
The dedication ceremony will be attended by family and friends of Larry Maglinger, and we extend a warm invitation to the community to join us in honoring his memory.
