2022 Owensboro Parks Shelter Reservations

 

Looking for an affordable fun place to have a family gathering, picnic, or birthday party? Check out the Owensboro Parks & Recreation Department shelters located at Legion Park, Moreland Park, English Park, Ben Hawes Parks and the gazebos at Cap Gardner Nature Park and Old Germantown Park.

Owensboro Parks & Recreation will be accepting Shelter Reservations for 2022 beginning Monday, November 1 at 7:30 a.m.

Shelters are available for reservation during the hours of 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. daily March 31 – October 31, 2022, and must be paid in full at the time of reservation. This is a first come first serve basis. All reservations must be made a minimum of 14 days in advance.

You can make a reservation by calling 270-687-8700 or in person at the Owensboro Parks & Recreation Administrative Center located at 1530 McJohnson Avenue, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Shelters can be reserved for up to 4 hours for only $35 (plus tax). Each additional hour is an extra $10. With exception, Ben Hawes Park shelters are a flat fee of $60 (plus tax).
