Give your child the best experience where he/she will feel like a major leaguer playing on the newly renovated Owensboro Softball Complex’s Synthetic Turf In-fields. The City of Owensboro will complete phase one of three just in time for the 2020 3-4 and 5-6 T-Ball league.  

 

 We are now taking registrations for our annual T-ball league. This league will be non-competitive with the emphasis on teaching players the fundamentals of how to play and enjoy the game. This will be followed by a post-season single elimination tournament, where the players will get to demonstrate what they have learned throughout the regular season.

 

The league begins in June 1.  All games will be played on Mondays at the Owensboro Softball Complex located in Jack C. Fisher Park. Game times will be at 5:45-6:45 p.m. or 6:50-7:50 p.m. for each league and will vary each week. There will be a mandatory parent informational meeting at the Owensboro Parks & Recreation Administrative Center starting at 6 p.m. The 3-4 league meeting will be Thursday, April 23 and the 5-6 League meeting will be Friday, April 24. One parent is required to attend the meeting and may purchase a team t-shirts for $10 each at this meeting only.

 

The registration fee is $51 per child. We are offering a Sibling Discount of $10 for each additional sibling registered after the first child who resides in the same household. This discount is not applicable to players on scholarship. The deadline to register is April 9. Each child will receive a team t-shirt, hat, award and swim party at Combest Swimming Pool. It is recommended you register early for this fun and extremely popular program.
