2019 Owensboro Parks Shelter Reservations

 

 

Looking for an affordable fun place to have a family gathering, picnic, or birthday party? Check out the Owensboro Parks & Recreation Department shelters located at Legion Park, Moreland Park, English Park, Ben Hawes Park and the gazebos at Cap Gardner Nature Park and Old Germantown Park.

 

Owensboro Parks & Recreation is currently taking shelter reservations for the 2019 season. Shelters are available for reservations during the hours of 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. daily April 1 – October 31, and must be paid in full at the time of reservation. This is on a first come first serve basis and all reservations have to be made 2 weeks before preferred date.  

 

You can make a reservation by calling 270-687-8700 or in person at the Owensboro Parks & Recreation Administrative Center located at 1530 McJohnson Avenue Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Shelters can be reserved for up to 4 hours for only $35, plus tax. Each additional hour after 4 hours is an extra $10, plus tax. With exception, Ben Hawes Park shelters are a flat fee of $60, plus tax.
