The Sanitation Department will be on a normal schedule the week after New Year’s. In order to avoid a return service fee, please have carts out by 6:00 AM.

After New Year’s the Sanitation Department will collecting natural, undressed Christmas Trees Only on the customer’s first scheduled trash-day after New Year’s. Please place the trees 4-feet away from the trash cart. Please do not place trees in bags and please remove all lights, ornaments and stands.

Artificial tre...es will not be collected and must be disposed of as normal household solid waste and either placed in the cart (lid closed), taken to the Daviess County Transfer Station or picked up by special load (additional fee).
