OWENSBORO TO HOST THE 2015 KLC CONFERENCE AND EXPO

 

The City of Owensboro is the host city for the 2015 Kentucky League of Cities (KLC) Conference and Expo from Tuesday, September 29 through Friday, October 2, 2015 at the Owensboro Convention Center.  The conference offers training and the latest information for local elected officials through over 50 workshops and sessions.

 

From KLC Executive Director, Jon Steiner, “Our members are excited about coming to Owensboro for our 86^th Annual KLC Conference & Expo.  Owensboro is a model city when it comes to reinventing itself while holding true to its western Kentucky traditions.”

 

Owensboro Mayor Ron Payne added, “We are proud to host such an invaluable conference in our beautiful downtown.  This year’s conference attendance will top between 550 and 600 and will have a significant economic impact on our city.”
