OWENSBORO PARKS & RECREATION SPRING BREAK ACTIVITIES

 

Owensboro Parks and Recreation has several activities to offer over Spring Break, April 1-5.

The Edge Ice Center

The Edge Ice Center will offer daytime skating specials Tuesday through Thursday, April 2-4 from 1:00-3:30 p.m. with a discounted skating rate of $5 per person. The Edge will also be open on Friday, April 5 from 7:00-9:30 p.m.; Saturday, April 6 from 1:00-3:30 p.m. and 7:00-9:30 p.m.; and Sunday, April 7, from 1:00-3:30 p.m. Admission to weekend sessions is $7 per person and includes skate rental. Parents and guardian spectators are $2 per person to all sessions.

Dugan Best Recreation Center

Taco Tuesday: Enjoy a “Walking Taco” on Tuesday, April 2 from 2:00-3:00 p.m.

Training Day: Take on fun fitness challenges for a chance to win a gift card on Wednesday, April 3 from 1:00-3:00 p.m.

Do you have Game?: Compete in games to be named the Dugan Best Gamer on Thursday, April 4 from 1:00-3:00 p.m.

Movie Day on the Lawn: Watch a family-friendly movie outside on Friday, April 5 from 3:00 -5:00 p.m. Free Popcorn!

Fun Day: Enjoy the last day of Spring Break with free hotdogs, chips, and drinks, plus fun activities on Saturday, April 6 from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m.

 

 

Ben Hawes Golf Course

Ben Hawes Golf Course invites all school-age children (K-12) to get some practice swings in at the driving range. Students can enjoy $1 off each token purchased in the pro shop. All high school students will need to show their school ID.
