Owensboro Parks & Recreation Offering Extended Fall Break Hours

Owensboro Parks & Recreation will offer extended hours for those staying in Owensboro during Fall Break. Find more information at owensboroparks.org.

Skate at the Edge Ice Center

The Edge Ice Center will offer special afternoon sessions on October 8, 9, and 10 from 1:00-3:30 p.m. Admission and skate rental is $7 per person. Additional daily promotions include:

Tuesday: Free Halloween themed popcorn with admission

Wednesday: Guardian (non-skating) gets in FREE. (Usually a $2 fee)

Thursday: Buy 1 admission, get 1 FREE. (Skate rental not included)

 

Dugan Best Recreation Center

The Dugan Best Recreation Center, located at 1003 Omega Street, will be open Monday - Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.  The following events will take place between 12:00-3:00 p.m.

Monday: Make Caramel Apples/Wacky Sock Day

Tuesday: Halloween Crafts

Wednesday: Pumpkin Carving

Thursday: Hot Diggity (Chili) Dog Day ( Free hotdog!)

Friday: Pajama Day Contest  (Free popcorn and gift card to winner)

Saturday: Game Day (Uno, fuseball, bumper pool, board games - winners have names put in drawing for gift card)
