OWENSBORO PARKS & RECREATION INVITES BUSINESSES TO JOIN CORPORATE CHALLENGE LEAGUES

 

Owensboro Parks and Recreation Department is excited to welcome local businesses to join the excitement of Corporate Challenge Leagues. Activities include Wiffle Ball at McConnell Plaza, Kickball, and Adult Softball at Jack C. Fisher Park. Leagues aim to blend teamwork, camaraderie, and FUN! All games will be played on Tuesday nights with games beginning at 6:00 p.m.

< >Wiffle Ball (July 9-July 30) Kickball (September 9-September 30)

A mandatory preseason meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 30 at Owensboro Parks & Recreation Administrative Center (1530 McJohnson Avenue).  The deadline to register is Friday April 12 at 4:00 p.m.

Businesses will compete for victory in up to three sports with 4 weeks allotted for each league. The winners are determined by a points system. Trophies and plaques are awarded to top-performing teams.

Corporate Challenge Leagues not only promise spirited competition but also provide a lively social environment for participants and spectators. McConnell Plaza and Jack C. Fisher Park will transform into hubs of excitement that will include food and beverage vendors.
