Tuesday March 31, 2015 8:38 AM
The Owensboro Parks and Recreation Department is now taking registrations for the Co-ed Adult Kickball League. Adults 18 years and older can now relive the good old days of kickball on the playground. Players ages 16 and 17 need parental consent.
The game consists of two teams, four bases, and a BIG red ball. Each team needs at least 8 people to play (each team must play 3 females). This league is purely recreational—no practice or skill required.
Games will be played on Sunday afternoons at the Owensboro Softball Complex, Jack C. Fisher Park starting at 5 p.m. The league will begin Sunday, June 14 and the registration deadline is Friday, May 15. Fee to register a team is $115.
For more information or to register your team, please call the Owensboro Parks and Recreation Administrative Center at 270-687-8700.
