Owensboro Fire Department to Unveil Safe Haven Baby Box

OWENSBORO FIRE DEPARTMENT TO UNVEIL SAFE HAVEN BABY BOX IN DEDICATION CEREMONY
The Owensboro Fire Department is proud to announce the official dedication ceremony for the Safe Haven Baby Box located at Fire Station 1. Safe Haven Baby Box is a safety device designed for a mother in crisis to safely, securely, and anonymously surrender if they are unable to care for their newborn. Community members, local officials, representatives from Safe Haven Baby Box and Right to Life Owensboro will gather to celebrate the official dedication of the box.
What: Safe Haven Baby Box Dedication Ceremony
When: Saturday, August 26 at 11:00 a.m.
Where: Fire Station 1, 512 W. 9th Street, Owensboro, Kentucky 42301
The Owensboro Fire Department invites all members of the community to join us in this significant event as we unveil the Safe Haven Baby Box. This endeavor reflects our commitment to working with community partners to create a safer, more caring community where every child’s well-being is prioritized. Light refreshments will follow after the ceremony.
