MISS BUDWEISER HYDROPLANE TO MAKE APPEARANCE IN OWENSBORO

 

The Miss Budweiser Hydroplane will be making an appearance in Owensboro on Monday, June 25. The hydroplane will be on display in front of the Owensboro Convention Center.

The 1968 Miss Budweiser hydroplane was first driven by Owensboro native Bill Sterett, Sr. The hydroplane won the 1969 First Annual Kentucky Governor’s Cup in Owensboro, along with the 1969 National Championship and many other victories.

The public is invited to view the hydroplane, which will be on display in front of the Owensboro Convention Center from 8:00am to 5:00pm on Monday, June 25.
