                                                            Hike with Your Hound at Rudy Mine Trails

 

Celebrate National Trails Day at Rudy Mine Trails on Saturday, June 3 from 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. and bring your hound to our awesome event, Hike with Your Hound!

As if being out in nature with your pooch isn’t rewarding enough, there will be give-a-ways for the first 100 participants. Gear up and get ready for an amazing day!

(Dogs must be leashed at all times)

Rudy Mine Trails at Ben Hawes Park is located at: Highway 60 West at mile marker 8, Owensboro, KY  42301. The Double track trail includes three trails that interconnect equaling 4 miles – easy to moderate rating. The single-track trails were designed by mountain bikers, with 8.25 miles of trails and amazing terrain, these trails offer something for every level rider or outdoor enthusiast! Embrace the history of the mining on the property and take a minute to visit the buildings throughout the property to learn about how and when the mining took place. Please note that these trails are not paved and you will want to wear appropriate attire while visiting this park.
