ENGLISH PARK REDEVELOPMENT PUBLIC MEETING

 

The Owensboro Parks & Recreation Department will host a Public Input Meeting focused on the redevelopment of English Park.  The park is approximately 13 acres with a long stretch of shoreline on the Ohio River.  The meeting will give community members the opportunity to share ideas and suggestions to improve the space for more use and service to the Owensboro community.

 

WHEN: Monday, May 20 at 5:30 p.m.

WHERE: Parks & Recreation Administrative Center at 1530 McJohnson Avenue

 

The meeting will be led by Marc Bond of Lose Design.  The Lose Design team will be working with the City of Owensboro to prepare conceptual plans for the project and estimations of probable cost for the work.  Anyone is welcome to attend.
