EDGE ICE CENTER SUMMER HOURS AND SKATE LESSONS

 

The Edge Ice Center is moving into its summer schedule until September 5 with the following public skating session times:

Friday: 7:00-9:30 p.m.

Saturday: 1:00-3:30 p.m.

Patrons under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult age 18 or older. Admission and skate rental prices can be found at OwensboroParks.org.

The Edge Ice Center is accepting registrations for its next Learn-to-Skate session.  The Learn-to-Skate program is formatted by the ISI (Ice Skating Industry), the nation’s largest recreational ice skating organization. Classes are available for all ages and abilities from ages 3 and up. Classes are held once a week.

MONDAY CLASSES – June 3 through June 24

Freestyle Levels 1-10………………………………………………..4:30 – 5:30 p.m.

Fee: $48, plus tax – includes skate rental, if needed, and 1 hour of ice time each session (45 minutes of instruction and 15 minutes of practice ice).

 

TUESDAY CLASSES – June 4 through June 25

Tots 1-2, Tots 3-4, Pre-Alpha ……………………………………. 5:30 – 6:00 p.m.

Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, ………..………..... 6:00 – 6:30 p.m.

Fee: $40, plus tax – includes skate rental and 1 hour of ice time (30 minutes of instruction plus 30 minutes of practice ice).

Registration Deadline for all classes is Friday, May 31.
