The City of Owensboro’s Edge Ice Center is now accepting registrations for the next session of WeSKATE Learn to Skate Classes. The WeSKATE Learn to Skate Classes follow the lesson format created by the Ice Skating Institute of America (ISI), the nation’s largest recreational ice skating organization.

Classes are available for all ages and abilities, from tots to adults and are held once a week, for four weeks, on Tuesday afternoons/evenings beginning November 25. WeSKATE Hockey Lessons are on Wednesdays starting November 26 at 5 p.m. Class levels and times are available at www.owensboroparks.org.

Class dates are November 25 – December 17.  The registration deadline is November 21.

Class fees are $28 per person, and include one hour of ice time per week for 4 weeks (30 minutes of instruction plus 30 minutes of practice ice), skate rental, and a FREE year membership to ISI and monthly ISI magazine, plus participants in this session will have the opportunity to perform during the annual holiday recital at the Edge on Saturday, December 20.
