CITY OF OWENSBORO
2024 CHRISTMAS CARD UNVEILED
The 36th official City of Owensboro Christmas card was unveiled at the Owensboro Board of Commissioners meeting Tuesday evening. It was designed by local artist Aaron Kizer and is titled “Coming to Town”. This year’s design was inspired by a heartfelt moment shared between Kizer and his late mother.
“My mom was always sharing ideas for the City of Owensboro Christmas cards. One day, as we crossed the William H. Natcher Bridge, she mentioned that the bridge reminded her of a Christmas tree. I wanted to bring her vision to life and honor her creativity. This design serves as a celebration of imagination, and the cherished memories that inspire us all,” Kizer says.
The cards can be purchased starting on Wednesday, November 20 for $2.00 each at City Hall, located at 101 East 4th Street. City Hall is open from 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.. A limited number are available.
