CANADIAN FORCES SNOWBIRDS

COMING TO 2016 OWENSBORO AIR SHOW

 

 

The City of Owensboro announced today that the 2016 Owensboro Air Show will be headlined by the Canadian Forces Snowbirds. 

 

“We are really excited to build on the success of last year’s air show with another great show in 2016.  The Canadian Forces Snowbirds team is an amazing 9-ship demonstration team that definitely captures the crowd’s attention with their incredible formations,” said Public Events Director, Tim Ross.

 

The Air Show, now in its fifth year, will also feature the Red Tail Squadron, the Aeroshell Demonstration Team, and the US Navy F/A-18 Hornet Demo among its performers.  Additional performers will be announced in the coming weeks.

 

“I am really excited that we were able to work out the scheduling to have the Red Tail Squadron join our show this year.  They have a tremendous interactive exhibit that tells the story of the Tuskegee Airmen and I am excited to work with our schools to get students out to this unique history lesson in the week leading up to air show weekend.”
