ASPHALT MAINTENANCE SCHEDULED AT

OWENSBORO PARKS & RECREATION FACILITIES

 

The City of Owensboro Public Works Department will be conducting asphalt maintenance at several Owensboro Parks & Recreation facilities in the coming weeks. To ensure the safety of our visitors and the successful completion of these improvements, the specified areas being resurfaced will be temporarily closed for short periods. We appreciate your understanding as we work to enhance our parks and amenities.

The following locations are scheduled for maintenance (weather permitting):

• Chautauqua/Combest Pool Parking Lot: October 4
• Chautauqua Park Walking Trail: October 4
• Legion Park Walking Trail: October 3-4
• Hillcrest Golf Course Cart Path: October 8-10
• Greenbelt East Extension: October 10-11

PLEASE NOTE: Closures will be in effect only on the specified dates and only impact the designated amenities being resurfaced. We apologize for any inconvenience and encourage visitors to plan accordingly. Your patience is greatly appreciated as we continue to maintain and improve our recreational spaces for everyone to enjoy.
