Edge Ice Center Now Taking Registrations for Summer Sessions of
Learn-to-Skate Classes
The City of Owensboro’s Edge Ice Center is now accepting registrations for its summer sessions of Learn-to-Skate classes. The Learn-to-Skate program is part of the ISI’s (Ice Skating Institute) WeSkate program, the nation’s largest recreational ice skating organization. The summer sessions are a great opportunity to introduce a new interest to both children and adults, and parents can take the classes alongside their child if they wish.
Classes are available in June and July for all ages and abilities from three years to adult, and are conducted in a group setting. Classes will take place Tuesday evenings, June 3-24 and July 18-August 8 from 5:30-6:30p.m. Each class will consist of: 30 minutes of practice time and 30 minutes of instruction time. The registration fee is only $31 per person for the full session and includes instruction, practice ice, and skate rental. Deadline to register for June sessions is May 26; deadline for July sessions is July 7.
