The Owensboro Parks and Recreation Department is now taking registrations for its annual T-ball league. The league is for 3-6 year olds and teaches the basic fundamentals of T-ball, including batting off a tee, throwing, catching, fielding and team sportsmanship.

 

The league begins the week of May 2. All games will be played at the Owensboro Softball Complex located in Jack C. Fisher Park. The 3-4 year old (non-competitive) league will play on Mondays or Tuesdays and all children in this league will play in the field and bat each inning. The 5-6 year old (competitive) league will play on Thursdays. Game times will be at 5:45 p.m. or 6:50 p.m. for each league. 

           

The registration fee is $55 per child.  New this year, we are offering a Sibling discount of $10 off the Second child registered. The deadline to register is March 31.  Each child will receive a team T-shirt and hat. It is recommended you register early for this fun and extremely popular program.
