PUBLIC NOTICE

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Owensboro will hold a public hearing on Monday, April 11, 2016 at 5:30 pm in the Fourth Floor Commission Chambers of City Hall (4th and Allen Streets). The purpose of the hearing is to provide interested citizens an opportunity to comment on the drafts of the 2016-2017 Community Development Annual Action Plan for the City of Owensboro's Community Development Block Grant and HOME Investment Partnership programs.  The drafts have been placed at the offices of the Community Development Department at 101 East Fourth Street for public review.  The 30-day public comment period started on March 14, 2016 and will expire on April 11, 2016.  Once public comments have been received and any amendments made, the Advisory Committee will need to recommend the plan to the City Commission for their consideration and final approval.
