CITY OF OWENSBORO FACILITIES AND SERVICES
UPDATE AND REMINDERS
The City of Owensboro continues to follow COVID-19 guidance from the appropriate federal and state authorities. As such, we will follow the Healthy at Work guidance. (Please see “General Reopening Guidelines for Visitors and Staff Members of City Facilities” below.) The City remains committed to public safety and to serving its citizens. Below is an updated list of facilities and services.
City Hall, Public Works, and Parks and Recreation Administrative Office:

May 18, 2020 - Those conducting on-site city business will be scheduled by appointment only.

June 1, 2020 - Offices are scheduled to open to the public without appointment, however, capacity will be limited to three (3) guests at any given time.

Finance Department – Business with the Finance Department, including remittance of taxes, parking tickets, etc., paperwork and/or payments can be made via mail to P.O. Box 10003, Owensboro, KY 42302-9003 or dropped in secure drop box located on the Allen St. side of City Hall. Property Taxes can be remitted online at: https://services.owensboro.org/propertytaxpublic#!/. REMINDER: Net Profit return filing and payment due date has been extended to July 15, 2020.

Sanitation Department - Yard waste collection (limb collection) will resume on Monday, May 18. The first pass through the City may take longer than usual to collect debris that has built up over the past few weeks. Extended hours and Saturday collections to be determined.

General Reopening Guidelines for Visitors and Staff Members of City Facilities

Masks required to be worn by all visitors and staff members in lobbies, common areas, restrooms, hallways, conference rooms, on work sites, or where there is any contact with other staff members or members of the public. Visitors required to provide their own masks.

Social distancing guidelines of six (6) feet as established by the CDC shall be strictly adhered to in all city facilities.
To protect the health and well-being of the public and staff, we continue to encourage visitors and members of the public to conduct business with the city through electronic means such as email, phone, and fax. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this period.
