The City of Owensboro is proud to announce a partnership with Owensboro Health as the Presenting Sponsor of the 2021 Owensboro Air Show the weekend of August 13-15, 2021.

“We are thrilled to build on a great relationship with Owensboro Health and value their partnership with the 2021 Owensboro Air Show,” said Public Events Director Tim Ross. “Signature events like the Air Show that entertain tens of thousands of people in our community and bring visitors from throughout the country to our city are not possible without key community partners.  Owensboro Health has been one of those for our community for years and we are excited to build on that with their partnership for the 2021 Air Show.”

Owensboro Health’s mission is to heal the sick and to improve the health of our community - a mission lived in recent days by treating COVID-19 patients, offering convenient ways to get tested and providing more than 85,000 vaccines to the community. However, healing goes far beyond traditional medicine

“Events like these are good for our mental health as well as a healthy economy,” Mark Marsh, Owensboro Health President and CEO said. “We're committed to supporting Owensboro as we all recover from the past year. Owensboro Health is ready to help our community get back to normal in a healthy way.”

The 2021 Air Show will consist of three days of activities with the largest participation from military units that the Air Show has ever had in a single weekend.  More than 15 military and civilian aircraft and demonstration teams will showcase a wide array of warbird and modern military aircraft.  Spectators will be able to get an

up-close look at the aircraft on Friday, August 13 beginning at 4:00pm at the Owensboro-Daviess County Regional Airport, and then experience the Air Show along the riverfront beginning at 1:00pm both Saturday, August 14 and Sunday, August 15, 2021.

Along with the Air Show activities in the sky, Air Show weekend will also include the annual Bridge Run 5K/10K and Bridge Day for people to enjoy the views of the Owensboro riverfront from the Glover Cary Bridge on Saturday morning, August 14.
