CITY WILL CELEBRATE THE PIER GRAND OPENING FRIDAY, JULY 3

 

The Owensboro Board of Commissioners invites the public to a ribbon cutting celebrating the grand opening of The Pier in downtown Owensboro.  The ribbon cutting will take place on Friday, July 3 at 7:00 p.m.  The Pier is located north of the Owensboro Convention Center (501 West Second Street, Owensboro, Kentucky).  The new facility features 8,700 square feet of programmable space overlooking the Ohio River and stands in the old location of the Showroom Lounge, which was host to many famous musical acts during the existence of the Executive Inn Rivermont.  The Pier can be booked for events through the Owensboro Convention Center.
