The City of Owensboro is preparing for the 5^th annual Owensboro Parent Magazine Kids Bike-Run presented by Independence Bank and hosted by Owensboro Health on Saturday, July 31, 2021 beginning at 7:30am.

Residents should be aware that streets will be closed around the Owensboro Health Healthpark the morning of the race. Ford Avenue between Lexington Avenue and S. Griffith Avenue, as well as Mayfair Avenue between Ford Avenue and Booth Avenue, will be closed from 7:00am until approximately 10:30am. Motorists are advised to use alternate routes, avoid areas along the race course, allow for extra driving time, and proceed with caution on streets near the race course.

Major streets impacted will be Ford Avenue, Booth Avenue, S. Griffith Avenue, Scherm Road, and College Drive among others.
